GET GLITTERY THIS CHRISTMAS

Its that time of year again when your social diary goes through the roof and you need lots of different outfits for Christmas parties and functions. Well look no further and get glittery this Christmas.

The ultimate party look for this season is glitter and shimmer so plenty of Blingin jewellery and a sparkly dress but don't go OTT otherwise you could end up looking like a bauble from your Xmas tree :) its all about balance.

Always start with the key piece of the outfit, The main feature a dress or blouse and skirt or trousers. add some shimmer so the dress can be a glittery piece all over or the blouse can be the main feature but keep the bottom half plain.

When the key piece of the outfit is sorted accessorize with jewellery, shoes and a clutch bag. Jewellery wise if the dress or top is majorly sparkly you can add Blingin jewellery but make sure its not giant statement jewellery because it will become to overpowering as a whole ensemble, So keep it Blingin but on a smaller scale.

Shoes can make or break an outfit so make sure they are high to elongate your legs and go for a sparkly style with glittery or diamante finish outfit is plain, But if the outfit is the glittery part go for a patent style show to balance out the bling.

The same rule applies to the clutch bag so if the outfits plain bling it up and if the opposite tone it down to avoid looking tacky and over the top sometimes this can be great but not at a Christmas function you are going for flattering, sophisticated elegance.

For males this Christmas its all about a shimmery effect shirt with trousers or smart jeans and some stylish brogues or patent suit shoes topped off with a sleek timepiece.

Outfits like these can be found everywhere on the high street this time off year no matter what your budget is. Try Tesco or Asda for a budget outfit or that tad more upper market try SimplyBe, Jacamo,River Island and Debenhams or for total Christmas splurge go for Selfridges or Harvey Nichols and remember "If It Ain't Blingin Its Mingin" So make sure you Get Glittery this Christmas.
